The process involves placing your feet in a small tub of warm water in which an array is placed.  The power supply is turned on and within seconds, millions of ions are produced in the water.  The ions create an osmotic field that pulls neutralized toxins out of your body through the 500,000 sweat glands in your feet.  Many colours and objects appear in the water during IonCleanse sessions.

How the IonCleanse Works:                           

The client places his/her feet in a basin with warm water to which is added a small amount of sea salt.  A multiple metallic array is placed in the water and the array is then plugged into the IonCleanse unit. The array, in combination with the water and sea salt generates positively and negatively charged ions in the water, by separating oxygen and hydrogen.  The ions, which have gained or lost an electron, create a magnetic field which is capable of attaching to and neutralizing oppositely charged particles.  These neutralized particles are extracted from the body through the process called osmosis.  Osmosis is a term that is used to describe the movement of particles through a membrane from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration.  Human skin is thin, only 4 mm thick on the soles of the feet.  There are also 250,000 sweat glands on each foot.  This makes the feet the ideal conduit for this process of detoxification.

Many colours and objects appear in the water during IonCleanse sessions.  There is a reaction between the toxins and particles in the water, the salt added to the water, the metals in the array and the acidity or alkalinity of the person being bathed.  All of these combine to produce colour.  It is important to understand that the water will change colour if the unit is operating without feet in the water.  As a general rule this accounts for approx. 20% of the colour in the water.  The other colours come from the toxins being eliminated.  Toxins pulled from the body will form a sticky ring on the basin.

Frequency of Sessions:

A treatment program is best designed with the client, based on their goals for achieving improved health.  Clients can choose to have treatments as frequently as once every other day for 10-14 sessions (for clients under age 50), followed by maintenance sessions. The maximum recommended session frequency for those over age 50 is once every third day.  Client fatigue requires a reduction in treatment time and increase in session spacing. Sessions are 30 minutes in length and 15 minutes for children under 10.

Contraindications: 

1. Clients with a pacemaker or any other battery operated or electrical implant.
2. Organ transplant recipients.
3. Organ removal patients, especially the colon.  Great care should be exercised when dealing with clients who have had organs removed as their bodies do not function at high energy levels.  Colon removal indicates a greatly impaired ability to process nutrients and remove toxins from the body.
4. Anyone on medication, the absence of which would mentally or physically incapacitate them, such as psychotic episodes, seizures etc.
5. Pregnant and breast feeding mothers.  The IonCleanse system pulls toxins out of tissues and fat that could impair fetal development and will become part of the milk that is fed to a newborn infant.
6. Many medications require that a blood level be maintained in order to be effective.  Schedule the session before the taking of the medication.
7. Clients with low blood sugar or who have not eaten should eat before receiving a session.  IonCleanse tends to lower blood sugar in diabetics and may do so with those who are hypoglycemic.
8. People who have a metal joint implant may find the session uncomfortable.  If so, stop the session immediately

Beware of Imitations:


Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in the case of our IonCleanse® product, the imitations bear little resemblance to the quality parts, circuit design and safety features of the IonCleanse® product. Furthermore, most of the imitations and other competitive units have not passed the mandatory FCC, electrical safety, and other mandatory tests required to be sold in the United States to households or to a commercial business.


What could go wrong?

The cheapest imitation retails for $800, and one enterprising internet web site offers 3 units for $2,200, less than our cost of manufacturing. It's very easy for someone to make an imitation. All you need is the ability to imitate another product, a garage workbench, a cheap step-down transformer, a homemade circuit board, an enclosure, a power cord, some wire and a few strips of metal that go into the water.

Besides the obvious warranty, durability and reliability concerns that imitations present, we feel there are some very serious safety issues that makers of these units have not addressed.

A few of those issues are listed below:

(1) Electric Shock Hazard - This can result if a poorly designed unit is repeatedly overloaded. A thin piece of paper insulation in the power transformer is all that separates the array output from the 120 volt AC power line input. If the paper insulator in the transformer is overheated repeatedly because the array has been overloaded, it may fail. The resulting failure could expose your client to 120 volts AC with amperages that pose an extreme hazard. The IonCleanse® has passed and is certified as specified under Electrical Safety by Council Directive 73/23/EEC EN60335-1-2002. The power supply is protected from overload and has been tested to comply with UL standards for leakage current and for electrical shock hazard.

(2) Premature System Failures - A poorly designed power supply connected to an array circuit without a current limiter will cause the circuit and array to fail prematurely. The IonCleanse® unit was designed to prevent damage to the control unit under normal operation due to poor water conditions or operator error. We show the power output readings to the array in volts and amps. If a condition occurs that can damage the unit, the computer program will warn the operator and shut off the array. As a result our failure rate is less than 1 unit in 1,000 sold. Some of the other units on the market have failure rates as high as 80 to 100 percent.

(3) Poor Power Supply Filtering - Unregulated and unfiltered alternating current (AC) flows will interfere with the body's electrical system. Side effects from this phenomenon include but are not limited to: fatigue, dizziness, physical weakness, depression, disorientation, headache and increased electrical sensitivity. Many of the imitation units we have tested show high levels of AC ripple in the array circuit due to poor power supply design. The IonCleanse® unit provides a clean, noise free DC output to the array. If a fault or overload occurs, the internal safety circuits will warn the operator and disable the array output.

(4) Static Interference - Static discharges are common in the dryer winter months. A static spark from the human body can cause the destruction of the computer control circuit board or make the unit operate in an unsafe or unexpected manner. The IonCleanse® has been tested and certified to meet the standards of EMC (89/336/EEC and amendments). One of the many tests of this standard is to place an 8,000 volt discharge on every surface of the IonCleanse® control unit. The unit must operate perfectly in order to pass this test.

(5) Federal Regulations - All electronic equipment using computer chip or switching power supply may generate radio frequencies. These devices must pass tests for compliance with FCC regulations in order to qualify for public sale in the United States. The IonCleanse® has passed and is certified under FCC class B by the Hewlett Packard Hardware Test Center, which is accredited by A2LA (accreditation No. 905.01)
How can you tell if a vendor's unit is safe?

The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) mandates that any product that uses a computer chip must pass several radio emission tests before it can be sold to the public. Ask your vendor for his FCC certification report and for their UL and CE safety certifications to make sure you are purchasing a safe unit. Get the full laboratory report!
